Such a welcoming place!

On our second visit, it felt like we were coming home. Clive is delightful and possesses a wealth of sightseeing information. His guidance and suggestions for our trip helped make a good visit so much better. The Ambers is very clean, and well maintained, but excellent service really makes this guest house outstanding. We fondly remember our visit and often wish we were still there.

Room functional which was all I wanted on a business trip. Exceptionally clean. Very nice little single room perfect for me alone.

Breakfast had so much variety and you could have as much as you liked.

What an experience - even though the stay was too short! allot of the major chain hotels should take a lesson or two from this wonderful hotel - and the family running the hotel really go out of the way to make you feel at home.

Delayed flight late at night and owner extremely accommodating with pick up and again with early transfer the next morning, less than 5 mins from Gatwick. Very comfortable room, more like a home from home experience, a couple of pubs within walking distance and great recommendations for more exotic food. Breakfast was fantastic and served with a smile…

Great 2 bedroom 2 bathroom family apartment, excellent location near Gatwick airport, very comfy beds. We appreciated the special touches such a nice toiletries. Very clean and warm - we didn't arrive until 2am (late flight) so appreciated coming into such a cosy place with the heating on left on for us. Best breakfast we had in England - huge quantities of self serve bacon, mushroom, tomatoes etc and freshly made omelette. Really enjoyed chatting with the friendly host over breakfast.

You will go a long way to find a couple as friendly anfd helpful as Jackie and Clive. Nothing is tioo much trouble for them. The guest house is spotlessy clean with very confortable rooms and the breakfast is exceptional. We will definitely stay there again.
